Mission:
conveys information and warning signals from the control tower.
Activities:
Improves runway safety and encourages the arrival of regular airlines on small airfields.
Required skills and proficiency:
Have a general knowledge as concerns aviation.
Working Conditions:
AFIS Agent works on small airfields.
Education:
Qualification for this profession is obtained at the end of a training in ENAC (National School of Civil Aviation) of Toulouse for three weeks, but however remains subject to the procedures in force established by the Civil Aviation Directorates.
Pathways to employment:
Once being trained as mentioned above after recruitment or while waiting to be recruited.
