81 new Airport Security Officers at the CCAA

Following their recruitment within the institution, these young trainees have just completed a basic security training course.

Today April 26, 2018 and prior to their departure for the Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport where their practical training will take place (On the Job Training OJT), Director General Mrs. Paule Assoumou Koki was keen to remind them of the weighty responsibility they shall hence take on.

Indeed, she advised this second batch of recruits to show dedication at work, consistent moral integrity, professionalism and honesty. It should be noted that these recruitments are part of the process to strengthen security measures at our international airports, a process which, according to the Director General, is closely monitored by the highest authority of the country.

In 2017, the CCAA recruited 158 Airport ​​Security Officers who are currently on the field.

These new ASOs come in time to meet the human resource needs of the airport Operational Safety Units, which are the foundation of the new airport security systems in Cameroon.
