As part of its missions in the field of aviation safety, the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) has integrated a new interface called "Rulemaking Process" on its online platform DASIS (Directorate of Aviation Safety Information System, which is accessible from (www.dasis.ccaa.aero) allowing to communicate with users and the industry on its activities to prepare draft regulations.

The launch of this interface provides a technical solution to meet the user and industry consultation requirement established in Instruction No. 002/I/CCAA/DG/DCRCA of March 13, 2018, establishing guidelines for the preparation of regulations and related documents.

In particular, this interface allows access to:

  • Terms of reference (TOR) associated with initiated regulation projects;
  • Notices on Proposed Regulations and Proposed Amendments to Regulations (NPR/NPAs) for comment;
  • Compliance Checklists (CCs) between the ICAO Annexes and the proposed regulations.

Any person or organisation interested in or likely to be impacted by a proposed rulemaking may submit comments to the CCAA on the published notice, using the form DCRCA.REG.FORM.003 Comments to a Notice of Proposed Regulation / Amendment available in the NPR/NPA section.
