It was during the traditional open house days organized by the defence forces before the feast of the national day of Cameroon.

In a decorated stand within the vicinity of the air force, the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) presented the various trades that can be found in the air from 17 to 19 may 2019 at the Yaoundé air base 101.

The aim is to insight vocations within the youth, and to present many other occupations of the air by and large unknown even by some parents. 

It was a great opportunity to also present the civil aviation sector of cameroon, which has so much need of younger technical expertise to better prepare the legacy  of the dawn of the 2035 emergence horizon. The professional world of the civil aviation sector that revolves around the supervisor of the sector that is the CCAA was also exhibited.

Through a small animated film and presentation, the children were delighted to discover occupations in the domain of , flight attendance, flying assistance, related functions, commercial personnel, airport operations and technical assistance, and their inter connectivity with the CCAA.

These two day show also served  as a venue to present the missions of the CCAA to the general public who turned out in their numbers to this great fair.

The Minister delegate at the Presidency in charge of defence Joseph Béti Assomo presided over the opening and closing ceremonies of the Cameroonian army's open days.
