Meeting of the Steering Committee of the follow-up of the construction of the headquarter of the CCAA
The first session of the Steering Committee of the follow- up of the Construction of a new headquarter for the CCAA has taken place on September 17, 2018 at the head office of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) in Yaoundé, presided by Mr. NKOUE NKONGO Maximin Paul, Chairman of the Committee.
In her progress report, Ms. ASSOUMOU KOKI Paule, Director General of the CCAA focused on the implementation of the 1st Phase of the project and other related investments at the Yaoundé Nsimalen airport.
She revealed that the first phase of the construction project for the new CCAA headquarter building has effectively started.
It is worth noting that the scope of work concerning this first phase includes the construction of the Training Center and the aviation Search and Rescue Center (SAR).
This phase of the project is being implemented by CHINA SHANXI CONSTRUCTION GROUP Company and is scheduled to last 18 months as of July 16, 2018.
After discussions at the meeting, Committee members visited the construction site-vital support to the development agenda of the Yaoundé Nsimalen airport area.
