A CONAC team has organized a training of heads of structures on the implementation of Rapid Results Initiatives (RRI) at the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority on June 06, 2018.

In the presence of Mr. ALLABIRA Mamadou, Deputy Director General and President of the Anti-Corruption Cell, the CONAC expert reviewed the concept of corruption, the techniques of denouncing the vice at CONAC and the RRI method.

According to him, in order to become an island of integrity, the CCAA must get to grips with a tool called PRECIS, acronym which means (Prevention, Education, Conditions, Incentives and Sanctions) in the planning of activities. In addition, it will require skill to mobilize and reach a critical mass of positive and motivated actors and to combine different approaches that would generate small acts culminating in the improvement of living and work conditions and ultimately radical change.

RRI is a support and change management approach. It allows change action to focus on our thoughts and ways of doing things while bench-marking competences and performances.

With RRI, indolence at the CCAA could be beat, leading to good practices or productive behaviors. The productivity of the RRI method heavily relies on the religious implementation of its methodology which consists of releasing initiatives, empowering individuals, overcoming resistance and inertia, capitalizing on achievements and recognizing excellence.

It should be noted that the optimal implementation of an RRI requires the mobilization of both competent political and strategic actors and professionals gathered around a committed multidisciplinary team.
