CCAA: The Director General installs recently appointed managers
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), Mrs. Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI, and Deputy Director General, Mr. Allabira MAMADOU, presided over the installation ceremonies for newly appointed operational and support structure managers at the CCAA headquarters in Yaoundé.

These appointments stem from a resolution passed by the CCAA Board of Directors on June 28th, 2024.
The installed managers include Technical Advisers Nos. 1 and 2, the Director of Air Safety (DAS), and the Director of Security and Facilitation (DSF). Among the sub-directors installed are Mission Managers Nos. 1 and 4, the Director of the Training School (EFO), the Head of the Information Systems Division (DIS), the Head of the Aeronautical Cooperation, Regulation and Communication Division (DACRC), the Head of the Studies and Projects Unit (SPU), the Sub-Director of Material Resources (SDMR), the Sub-Director of Human Resources (SDHR), the Sub-Director of Legal Affairs (SDLA), and the Commander of Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport.
In her address, the Director General expressed gratitude to outgoing managers for their achievements and challenged incoming managers to maintain these gains while contributing their unique expertise.
Recognizing upcoming safety and security challenges, Mrs. KOKI called upon operational structures to monitor strategic issues, ensure the sustainability of recent security audit achievements, and prepare diligently for the upcoming safety audit, all in collaboration with other stakeholders.
The Deputy Director General advised support structures to implement strategies for a positive and healthy work environment, employee career development, and innovation. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining infrastructure and equipment and minimizing legal issues for the CCAA.
Staff members were urged to display discipline, respect for hierarchy, and consistent engagement in their assigned tasks.
These significant challenges are well-matched by the extensive experience of the newly promoted staff.
