15 flight programs approved for the Summer 2025 season
On Tuesday March 11, 2024, the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) organized a consultation to approve the flight schedules for the 2025 summer season at the CCAA Training School, in the presence of representatives of the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the representative of the Ministry of Transport, the cameroon Airport Company, ASECNA and some twenty airlines serving Cameroon.

On the whole, there were a few minor adjustments for some airlines, and for others there were no changes compared with the current winter season, involving such renowned carriers as Air France, Brussels Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air Algérie, Egyptair, Royal Air Maroc, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, Air Côte d'Ivoire, Allied Air, Air Peace, Asky, Afrijet, Camair-co, Cronos and Rwandair.
The Head of the Air Transport Division at the CCAA, representing the Director General, welcomed the presence of the airlines and took the opportunity to remind the airlines of the concerns of the Director General of the CCAA to ensure the quality of services offered to passengers, in particular reception, which must comply with ICAO standards.
The ADCs were congratulated and encouraged to pursue their efforts in terms of ground services and were made aware of the impact of these services on the image of the airlines and Cameroon.

The CCAA took the opportunity to present a tool for monitoring compliance with approved flight schedules. Other aspects, such as information sharing (flight plans, manifests) and the management of medium-haul flights, which require a high level of responsiveness on the part of Cameroon's airport managers, were also addressed.
Notable changes in flight schedules included:
-Air France: Increased flights, with three direct flights to Yaoundé and the return of service to Malabo.
-Kenya Airways: Introduction of two freighters and a Boeing 738.
-Air Côte d'Ivoire: Arrival times changed to the afternoon.
-Air Peace: Addition of a frequency and modification of the Saturday flight, among others.
The CCAA concluded by stressing the importance of making Cameroon a benchmark for aviation in Africa, through good service to air transport users.
