The CCAA Training School is now a silver associate member of the ICAO Trainair Plus Programme

The change in status took place on May 29, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea, during an event organized as part of the activities of the Global Implementation Support Symposium.
The Training School was honoured in recognition of the volume of activities it carried out in 2022, the efficiency of its administrative and financial procedures, and its contribution to the dissemination of the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The CCAA Training School has therefore been upgraded from Bronze Associate Member to Silver Associate Member of the ICAO Trainair Plus Programme.
The silver associate member plaque was presented to Mrs AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI Paule, Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, by the Director of the ICAO Technical Cooperation Bureau (TCB) at the ICAO Trainair Plus Programme Steering Committee meeting held on May 29, 2023, in conjunction with the Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS 2023), which will end on June 1, 2023.
The ICAO-organized symposium's theme is "Working Together for Innovative and sustainable global aviation."
The next step for the CCAA Training School is to become a GOLD / Full Member of the ICAO Trainair Plus Programme.
The ICAO Trainair Plus Programme is a network of training centres. The CCAA Training School is a centre that teaches courses using a competency-based methodology. It is a future centre of excellence in the sub-region.
