Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority Training School Showcases Aviation Careers
The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) Training School (EFO CCAA) presented various aviation professions during the Cameroonian Defence and Security Forces Open Days. This event took place at Yaoundé's Air Base 101 from May 17 to 19, 2025, serving as a prelude to the National Unity Day festivities on May 20.
CCAA: Intensive preparation for ISO 9001 certification renewal
The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) is pursuing its commitment to operational excellence by intensively preparing for the renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 certifications. The first of three training sessions dedicated to process actors was held from 5 to 9 May 2025 at the EFO CCAA in Yaoundé, under the chairmanship of Mrs Paule Assoumou Koki, CCAA's Director General.
This initiative is part of a capacity-building drive to ensure that teams are optimally prepared for the certification audits scheduled for November and December 2025.
Initial training in flight procedures' design at the CCAA Training School
This four-week training course ended on April 11, 2025, with the award of certificates to participants by Mrs Paule Assoumou Koki, Director General of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), at the CCAA Training School located at the entrance to Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport.
Dedication, zeal, and workplace discipline honored
Honorific Distinction: 231 personnel received the Labour Merit Medals in silver, vermeil (gilded silver), and gold during a ceremony presided over by the Governor of the Centre Region on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, marking International Labour Day.
Romain EKOTO at the helm of ICAO's Regional Office for West and Central Africa
This Cameroonian engineer was appointed on March 24, 2025, succeeding Mr Prospère ZO'O MINTO, who was recently promoted to head ASECNA. He will begin a four-year term of office, renewable once.
