Rapid-Results Initiatives focal points capacity building workshop
On the initiative of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority's (CCAA) Anti-Corruption Unit, the training, which took place from 12 to 13 June 2019, aimed to equip members of the Anti-Corruption Unit and the Rapid-Results Initiatives focal points of structures, with tools and techniques that can help improve performance within the CCAA.
Indeed, as part of the implementation of the Rapid Results Initiative within the CCAA, these focal points are tasked with working with the Anti-Corruption Unit to change employee mentalities.
The training workshop entailed equipping them and through the application of the SMART method, (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound). They will now be able to identify and make changes in the handling of administrative, technical, and financial files.
The state of affairs in the fight against corruption in Cameroon, a major problem for the proper functioning of private and public structures, has been made, particularly within the CCAA; discussions and practical work focused on ethics, corruption and on the implementation of the CCAA's Quick results Initiative work plan.
Eventually, the CCAA will have to present the results of these reports before the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon. An instructor from CONAC led the training.
