An exploration mission was carried out in the cities of Buenos Aires and San Carlos
An exploration mission was carried out in the cities of Buenos Aires and San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina from 26 July to 03 August 2019 as part of the strengthening of cooperation links in the field of aeronautics by a Cameroonian delegation .
Indeed, in order to implement a recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the CCAA has adopted the sharing of experiences, the strengthening of the workforce and the acquisition of skills in advanced technological training.
This strategy to develop the performance and efficiency of a civil aviation safety system is an integral part of the CCAA's quality approach under the leadership of its Directorate General.
Seen in this light, the experts of the CCAA exchanged with both executives of Argentine diplomacy, as well as representatives of the technical administrations in the areas of security supervision and oversight, the provision of navigation services, aviation accident investigation techniques, personnel training and air agreements.
Led by the Director General of the CCAA Mrs Paule AVOMO ASSOUMOU KOKI team Cameroon also met with officials of the main national airline Aerolineas Argentina to discover the different areas of operations of Argentina and appreciate their know-how and the level of technology in the field of aviation.
They took part in a working session with Aerolineas Argentina officials with whom they had very fruitful exchanges.
This visit to Argentina thus helped to specify issues worthy of interest to Cameroon in areas such as: training, the provision of equipment, and the transfer of technology and skills.
Upon their return, this team will now forge ahead with the necessary steps that will lead to a real win-win partnership between Cameroon and Argentina.
