Mrs. Paule Assoumou KOKI, Director General of the  Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU), one with ICAO and the other with the Singapore Aviation Academy, respectively on September 24 and 25, 2025, on behalf of the CCAA Training School EFO CCAA, in Montreal. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the High Commissioner of Cameroon to Canada, Mr. Philippe NGOLLE NGWESE.
The objective of the first agreement was to consolidate the existing cooperation between the EFO CCAA and ICAO through the School's membership in the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme. This membership already confers an established label of excellence upon this flagship training entity in the Central African sub-region. The document signed between the Director General of the CCAA and the Secretary General of ICAO will establish the legal framework that will clearly govern and support the relationship between the two entities with regard to training courses delivered using the TRAINAIR PLUS methodology.

It should be noted that the EFO CCAA is a Gold Member of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme, and this status allows it to access over 500 training packages, offer its programmes even through remote learning, facilitate the marketing of said courses, and confer international recognition upon the EFO CCAA. To achieve this, the organisation was required to meet specific prerequisites and go through evaluations by ICAO experts.

Regarding the MoU signed on 25 September 2025 between the CCAAs training school, EFO CCAA and the Singapore Aviation Academy, it will enable the two training bodies to exchange their respective expertise in terms of training, courses, instructors, students, and even in the area of curriculum development.

With these two newly established cooperation frameworks, the EFO CCAA will be able to expand its potential concerning training programmes and teaching staff. This marks a new opening for many young people and professionals seeking advanced training in the field of civil aviation, and provides a further avenue for supplying qualified personnel to the industry.
