About CCAA

Presentation of the CCAA

Following Decree No. 2019/174 of 09 April 2019 to lay down the reorganisation and functioning of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority is officially and legally referred to as “CCAA”.

It has been reclassified from a “Public Administrative Body” to a “Public Technical Body” due to its areas of competence and the nature of its technical activities. 

It remains responsible for implementing general policy and the management of civil aviation, in particular civil aviation safety and security oversight, and the economic supervision of air transport.

Decree No. 015/232 of 25 May 2015 places the CCAA under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Transport and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance.

Our vision

To become an efficient civil aviation authority and a global reference supporting safe, modern and competitive air transport at the service of sustainable development in Cameroon. 

The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority ensures the implementation of civil aviation policy and regulationair transport follow-up and development of airports, as well as civil aviation control, regulation, safety and security.
