Air Traffic Controller

An Air Traffic Controller license issued by the CCAA is required to exercise air traffic control privileges in accordance with the relevant qualifications and unit endorsements within the airspace of the State of Cameroon.

To obtain an air traffic controller license, the applicant must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age;
  • Have completed a training course approved by the CCAA;
  • Possess the knowledge required for the privileges to be granted;
  • Complete at least three (03) months of satisfactory service under supervision;
  • Hold a Class 3 medical certificate;
  • Have a minimum ICAO English proficiency level of 4.

To submit an application for an air traffic controller license, the applicant must:

  • Complete form PEL. FORM.015, available on the DASIS platform (dasis.ccaa.aero);
  • Attach all supporting documents confirming the information provided in the form;
  • Send the duly completed form, together with the attachments, to the following email addresses:
    • contact@ccaa.aero and
    • licensing@ccaa.aero;
  • Submit the complete physical application by post to the attention of the CCAA’s Directorate General.
