Technical Operations Officer

A Technical Operations Officer (TOO) license issued by the CCAA is required for flight planning and technical preparation in Cameroon.

To obtain a TOO license, the applicant must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age;
  • Have the required experience in civil aviation trades or complete an accredited training course at a centre approved by the CCAA;
  • Pass a theoretical examination organised by the CCAA;
  • Serve in an operations control organisation under the supervision of an operations technical officer for at least 90 working days during the six (06) months immediately preceding the date of application.

To submit an application for a TOO license, the applicant must:

  • Complete form CMR.PEL.FORM.XXX, available on the DASIS platform (dasis.ccaa.aero);
  • Attach all supporting documents confirming the information provided in the form;
  • Send the duly completed form, together with the attachments, to the following email addresses:
    • contact@ccaa.aero and
    • licensing@ccaa.aero;
  • Submit the complete physical application by post to the attention of the CCAA’s Directorate General.
