The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, through its Department of Operation and Airport Command (DECA), provides Air Navigation services on the following platforms:
- Maroua-Salak International Airport
- Bafoussam-Bamougoum Airport
- Bamenda Airport
- Bertoua Airport
- Ngaoundere Airport
As an air navigation service provider (ANSP), the CCAA plays a central role in ensuring the safety, regularity and efficiency of air traffic.
CCAA’s field missions in Cameroon include, in particular:
- air traffic control, which is replaced at certain aerodromes by flight information services;
- an alert service in the event of an emergency or distress situation;
- meteorological assistance for air navigation;
- aeronautical telecommunications.
As an ANSP, the CCAA is also responsible for the maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure at airports: VOR, ILS, beacon lights, weather stations, etc.
