The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, through its Department of Operation and Airport Command (DECA), serves as the aerodrome manage on the following platforms:
- Bafoussam-Bamougoum Airport
- Batouri Airport
- Koutaba Airport
- Kribi Airport
- Mamfe Airport
- Tiko Airport
As the aerodrome manager, the CCAA performs several roles at the strategic, operational, administrative, and commercial levels.
At the strategic level, the CCAA is responsible for planning and implementing airport development projects. The CCAA is also working to enhance the attractiveness of the airports by providing space for commercial operators, facilitating the arrival of airlines, and gradually developing services designed to improve passenger comfort.
These efforts are part of a wider drive to enhance secondary airports, with a view to promote their integration into the national air transport network and boosting local economic development.
At an operational level, the CCAA is responsible for coordinating operational activities on these sites in compliance with applicable regulatory standards and requirements, for maintaining infrastructure, and for implementing safety and security measures.
The airport manager also acts as a Director and, in this capacity, ensures the effective management of human and material resources.
